AI Governance RAI Framework

AI Governance Limited is committed to the ethical and responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. We believe that AI has the potential to bring significant benefits to society, but it is crucial to ensure that these systems are developed and used in a way that aligns with our values and respects fundamental rights.

Our approach to Responsible AI is guided by our Responsible AI Framework.  Our commitments are:

  1. Accountability: We are accountable for the decisions made by the AI systems we use and their impact on individuals and society. We have clear lines of responsibility and oversight for all stages of the AI lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and monitoring.
  2. Human agency & oversight: We believe that humans should maintain oversight of AI systems.  We design our use of AI to support human decision-making and empower people.
  3. Technical robustness & safety: We are committed to developing and deploying AI systems that are technically robust, reliable and safe. This includes rigorous testing and validation to ensure that our AI systems perform as intended and do not pose any risks to users or society.
  4. Diversity, non-discrimination & fairness: We are committed to ensuring that our AI systems are fair, unbiased and non-discriminatory. This includes taking proactive steps to mitigate potential biases in data and algorithms and ensuring that our AI systems treat all individuals and groups fairly.
  5. Transparency & explainability: We strive to make our AI systems as transparent and explainable as possible. Where people have contact with AI systems we are transparent about the use of AI and seek to explain AI decisions in a way that is understandable to users and stakeholders.
  6. Privacy & data governance: We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of individuals’ data. We comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations and we implement strong data governance practices to ensure that data is collected, used and stored responsibly.
  7. Social & environmental well-being: We are committed to developing and deploying AI systems that promote social and environmental well-being. This includes considering the potential impact of our AI systems on the environment, promoting sustainability and ensuring that our use of AI systems does not perpetuate or exacerbate social inequalities.

Continuous Evaluation: We recognise that the field of AI is constantly evolving. We will continuously evaluate and address all elements of our Responsible AI policy throughout the AI system’s lifecycle to ensure that our policies and practices remain relevant and effective.
