This week Sue Turner met King Charles III at Windsor Castle as he presided over his first Investitures as King. Sue was presented with the OBE for Services to Social Justice, reflecting her passion for supporting people to have a fair chance of a good life.
Sue Turner said: “It was an honour to meet King Charles and to discuss ways to make artificial intelligence benefit everyone, not just the technological elite. We talked about the need for more education about the pros and cons of AI as well as how to use AI for social good.
“I would like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to all my family for the support they give me, and to everyone I have worked with over the years who shares my passion for opening up opportunities for people.”
